I Ordinarily, I wouldn’t touch a canal boat vacation with a rod. I’ve always assumed that narrowboating is for the narrow-minded – those who like to limit their breaks to endless stretches of standing water.
The pandemic has brought us all to see the holidays in a new light. Perhaps our family really needed time in our own bladder now, with minimal contact with other people, at a forced slower pace.
