Cheshire is on the way back to normal along with the rest of the country.
However, concerns remain about the Indian variant of the coronavirus that is currently ravaging India.
Health Secretary Matt Hancock recently said it was “quite likely” that the Indian variant will become the dominant variant in the UK.
On the BBC’s Andrew Marr Show, he said, “I think it’s very likely that this will become the dominant line.
“We don’t know exactly how much more transferable it is, but I think it’s likely that it will become the dominant line here.
He added, “But the good news is that we are increasingly confident that the vaccine will work against the variant, that the strategy is on the right track – it’s just that the virus has just picked up a bit and we all are that must also be. ” much more cautious and cautious. “
Fortunately, the vaccine rollout is still going well and Mr Hancock also confirms that anyone over 35 in England can book their vaccination this week.
Cheshire is dealing with the virus largely through the vaccination program and months of lockdown.
