A brand new restaurant in Cheshire Oaks will support Hope House Children’s Hospices after being selected as the house’s official charity.
Mowgli – an Indian street food restaurant that opened at the Designer Outlet in June – expects to raise thousands of pounds each year to help support critically ill children and their families.
It has raised over £ 3,000 in its first month since opening.
The charity, which has two hospices – Hope House in Oswestry and Tŷ Gobaith in Conwy – relies on the support of their community to make sure they are there for those who need them.
Mowgli Founder Nisha Katona said, “We are very excited to announce Hope House Children’s Hospices as our Cheshire Oaks House Charity.
“Charitable giving is at the heart of everything we do, and it is up to our guests and our team to ensure that we can continue to support the lives of young children and their families across the Northwest.
“Hope House and Tŷ Gobaith are a perfect addition to the Mowgli family.”

Fundraiser Nicky Eyes said, “It is absolutely fantastic to have support from an established chain of restaurants and we are grateful to the Mowgli team and their customers for every pound they can donate.
“Our mission is that no one should face the death of a child alone, and we cannot do that without our community. We look forward to working with the Mowgli team and seeing our relationship grow. “
Hope House Children’s Hospices recently launched its Business Champion Initiative, which sees companies in Cheshire, Shropshire, North and Mid Wales sign up to the charity and create a special relationship that will last for years.
“Our business world has been fantastic, especially during the pandemic,” said Nikki. “If you would like to find out more about how to become a Business Champion or would like to support us as your charity of the year, please contact us.”
