Firefighters were called to a fire involving a bus on a Cheshire motorway.
A fire brigade was today (Sunday, July 11) at 1.45 a.m. on the M6 southbound between junctions 19 and 18. Involved in the incident around 1:45 a.m.
Upon arrival, the fire brigade found that the vehicle was 20 meters long and no one was missing.
The crew put out the fire with a hose reel nozzle and then steamed the bus to make it safe.
The temperatures were monitored with a thermal imaging camera.
The firefighters left the scene of the accident after making sure that the bus was safe.
They were present for more than half an hour.
Highways England and the police also attended.
Nobody is said to have been injured by the fire.
