A TEENAGER was offered cash in exchange for sexual activity by a total stranger in Cheshire.
The police are investigating the “suspicious incident” and are asking the population for clues in order to catch the suspect.
At around 9.45pm on Sunday June 27, a 16-year-old girl was approached by an unidentified man while walking past the Woolston Community Recycling Center on the path near Gray Mist Mere.
The man tried not only to persuade the girl to have sex, but also to lead her to a dead end.
The victim ignored the man and continued their walk before two unknown men walked by and made the suspect leave.
The suspect has been described as a white man in his early twenties with dark, shoulder-length hair.
He wore a dark blue Berghaus style coat with dark jeans and black sneakers. He also carried a Herron Food shopping bag.
PC Naomi Burnell said, “This is a very worrying incident and I would like to assure local residents that we are doing everything we can to determine exactly what happened.
