Cheshire: Why a company implemented a four-day workweek

Bosses at a Cheshire-based company have revealed why they made the decision to introduce a four-day workweek

Fox Group International, a leading cosmetics supplier, has now completed the final move after a successful trial period.

The Warrington-based company decided to implement it to improve the work-life balance of its employees while positively impacting their mental health.

Since its inception in 2016, Fox Group has enjoyed great success, with 2021 being a record year for the company with monthly sales of £2.6million.

The Fox Group currently supplies over 30,000 customers worldwide and has established itself as one of the UK’s largest suppliers of aesthetic products.

Michael Foxley, CEO of the company, said: “Creating a good culture for our employees has always been a top priority for us at Fox Group.

“This feels like natural progression for the company and we hope it will have a major impact on the mental health and well-being of our employees.

“We found a way to continue serving our customers five days a week while giving our staff an invaluable extra day off without sacrificing vacation days or pay, so it seemed like a no-brainer!”
