A man was seriously injured in a fall from the roof of a pub.
Cheshire police were called to the Leopard on London Road in Nantwich at around 5 p.m. on Wednesday (September 1) after reports of a man were on the roof of the building.
The officers visited the crime scene and started talking to him.
But a short time later he fell from the roof and was taken to the Royal Stoke University Hospital.

A police spokesman said the man remained in serious condition.
They said: “On Wednesday the 1st.
“Officials took care of the crime scene and started talking to him.
“He fell off the roof a short time later and was taken by ambulance to Royal Stoke University Hospital, where he is currently in serious condition.”
A spokeswoman for the North West Ambulance Service said, “We received a call at 6:29 pm yesterday and sent several resources including an ambulance, a paramedic and a rapid response vehicle.
“We took a patient to the hospital.”
