According to organizers, the famous RHS Flower Show at Tatton Park is set to return in July 2021.
The five day event celebrates gardening and growth with inspiration and advice for anyone looking to grow plants, flowers and food for their health, wellbeing and the environment.
Simon Tetlow, Head Gardener of Tatton Park said, “After months of lockdown, it’s great that everyone has something to look forward to.
“The opportunity to work with RHS to host this spectacular annual outdoor event where Tatton’s beautiful parkland and gardens are most picturesque is great news.”
Last year’s show was canceled due to the Covid pandemic with an online event that featured local growers, gardened in a small space, and took a virtual tour of Tatton’s famous Japanese garden that turned out to be popular instead.
Cllr Nick Mannion, Cabinet Member for the Cheshire East Council on Environment and Regeneration, said, “The RHS Flower Show at Tatton Park has been a major highlight on the county’s calendar for many years. To learn that the event will be held again this year is a survey to show that we are truly on the road to recovery after this terrible time.
“It’s a huge contributor to the county’s economy and we hope it will prove more popular than ever this year.
“I thank and congratulate the RHS for their commitment and trust in Tatton Park, the district and the many thousands of plant and garden lovers for whom the RHS Flower Show in Tatton is again a must.”
