A section of the M6 in Cheshire was closed after a truck hit a barrier and overturned.
The incident occurred on the south lane at J17 near Sandbach shortly after 4.40 p.m.
As a result, the lane between J18 in Middlewich and J16 in Stoke-On-Trent / Crewe was closed.

Traffic on the northbound lane was also temporarily interrupted due to the debris from the collision.
Investigations are currently being carried out on the southern carriageway, which is expected to be closed for several hours. The motorway officials begin to clear the motorway at around 7.30 p.m.
From 8 p.m. a lane in the northbound lane was closed.
No injuries were reported at this point.
In the early evening, a Cheshire Constabulary spokesman said:
“The collision caused the truck to lie on its side.
“The M6 going south is currently blocked between junction 18 and junction 16.”
